Escape Technology is proud to present the list of training webinars and training courses available to all customers! This includes Release Reviews and other scheduled topics.

Training webinars and courses are available for all our software, including new module implementation, new users, specific functionality - whatever your reason. A purchase order is required in advance of scheduling for the training.

We also provide free-of-charge Release Reviews, which discuss the latest changes. These are held after every release of Escape Online 5.

Our System Trainer

Terri Hammond has 12 years school district experience, working in the business office of two Bay Area School districts. Since joining Escape in October 1998, Terri has worked in both Finance and HR/Payroll. She is a team leader for the Finance Customer Care team, specializing in all the Finance Modules.

What keeps Terri going for 10-plus years is Escape's dedication to customer satisfaction. She loves the improvements Escape has done with Online 5. The batch processing is every business office employee's dream. Year-End closing has never been easier!!

Terri's newest role is as an Escape Online 5 trainer for Finance. Training for her is a way to share knowledge of the software in a fun and exciting way! As a past School District employee, she really understands the needs of a district and knows the work flows. Always the comedian, Terri uses this understanding to keep her trainings humorous and informative.

As Terri says, "When you love what you do, you'll do a good job and I love what I do!"

Training Webinars

The following training schedule is available to all Escape Online customers. The fee is $250 per customer (organization or county). After you register, you must send a purchase order for the entire amount. Once we receive your purchase order, we will send a link for entering the training session. Any number of users from your organization can register. After the training, we provide links to the training documents and a video of the webinar for "on-demand" training for those users that were unable to attend the scheduled session.

2010 Schedule

Accounts Receivable User Training

 September 16, 2010 9am - 11:30 Covers recording and posting receipts, as well as creating and processing AR invoices. The class also includes setting up receivables, printing invoices and statements, and running basic reports.

Interim Budget Training

 October 21, 2010 9am - 11:30 Covers how to set up a Revised budget model, enter data into the model, and running budget Reports and SACS Extract Report.

W2 Processing

 December 9, 2010 9am - 11:30 Studies the W2 loading process. It covers checking your setup (contributions, deductions, addons and system setup), loading and reviewing the tax year and generating the W2 files.

1099 Processing

 December 9, 2010 2pm - 4:30 Studies the 1099 process, reviewing vendor address fields, defaults and 1099 processing fields and activities. It covers checking your setup, reviewing the tax year and generating the 1099 files. It is tailored for advanced AP users.

Escape also provides in-person training courses available to all customers!

Release Review Webinars

In 2008, we started holding Release Review webinars for every release of Escape Online 5. Held the second Thursday of the month, these hour-long sessions walk you through the new features and reports of the latest release.

For those of you who have never been to a webinar, what we do is send all the attendees a link to a website. When they click on it and login, they see the trainer's screen, exactly! They can also hear via telephone connection.

It's the next best thing to being right there! The review lasts about an hour and lets you know all about a release's new features without ever having to leave your desk. Attendees can even type questions into a chat window, which we answer, live, for everyone.

Release Review webinars are part of your maintenance package. They are free-of-charge. Any current Escape Online customer may attend, individually or as a group.
