User Group / Conference

Customers using Escape Online 5 have created several different types of users groups across the State. Regardless of their structure, these users groups provide a forum for school business professionals to discuss their processes and solutions for everyday activities.

There are users groups that are hosted by certain counties that are based on job function. For instance, Placer, Sonoma and Ventura Counties have either monthly or quarterly user group meetings for their districts that are dedicated to specific types of Escape Online 5 users. One group is focused on Purchasing and Finance functionality, another on HR and finally a third group focused on Payroll.

There is also a state wide county user group that is attended via video conference by all of Escape’s county customers. This meeting is scheduled quarterly and hosted by Ventura County. Higher level strategic topics are discussed at this meeting, we receive feedback on our roadmap and discuss the status in each county.

In 2011, we hosted a County Support Technician workshop. The workshop brought county and large-district support technicians together for a day of sharing best practices, discussing issues, and learning how to better support the end users.
