Customer Care Representative

The Customer Care Representative is responsible for providing help-desk support of Escape’s integrated finance and HR/payroll software for existing customers and providing technical support for Escape’s Project Managers and sales staff during the implementation process.

Responsibilities

  • Apply problem solving skills to resolve customer problems and answer questions regarding Escape’s integrated finance and HR/payroll software.
  • Update and configure software on customer databases via remote access or electronic distribution.
  • Provide technical support for implementation, training and sales staff when necessary.
  • Participate in user conferences, user groups or other customer meetings.
  • Assist with testing as coordinated with Quality Assurance staff.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
  • 5+years experience in using, supporting and training of integrated accounting/human resources software systems.
  • Experience in the public sector, such as State or County government or a school district, is preferred.
  • Experience with SQL, .NET, Crystal report development desired.
  • Strong PC, communication and time management skills required.
  • Strong trouble shooting and diagnostic skills required.
  • Experience with and good knowledge of Microsoft application suite.
  • Experience writing technical documentation, testing software, writing test procedures preferred.
  • Must be a self-starter and ability to manage workload independently.
  • Excellent oral, writing, and project management skills are required.

Salary and Benefits

This is an exempt, salaried position. Salaries at Escape are commensurate with experience. Full benefits are provided, including medical and dental coverage, retirement, major holidays and vacation. This position is located in the company headquarters in Roseville, but requires some travel to customer sites.
